Rental Guide

How to choose the right rideshare rental

Learn what to compare when selecting a reliable vehicle that fits your schedule, budget, and preferred rideshare platform.

Start with the platforms you plan to drive for.
Uber, Lyft and delivery apps each have their own vehicle requirements. Check the minimum model year, the number of doors and seats, and whether the car needs to be approved for premium ride types before you compare prices.

Every car in our fleet is already approved for the major rideshare platforms, so you can focus on picking the size and fuel economy that suits the way you drive.

Compare the weekly cost, not just the daily rate.
Look at the full weekly price including insurance, maintenance and any mileage limits. A slightly higher rate with unlimited miles and included maintenance usually works out cheaper than a bargain rate with extra fees.

Think about fuel economy.
Fuel is your biggest running cost after the rental itself. A hybrid sedan can save you a meaningful amount every week if you drive full time.

Ask about support on the road.
Breakdowns happen. Make sure you know who to call, how quickly you can get a replacement car, and whether you keep earning while your car is being serviced.
